How often should we clean?
There is no universal schedule. The right frequency depends on who lives in the home, pets, daily traffic, and how much you want to handle between visits.
Weekly
Best for high-use homes
A week is about how long a clean holds in a busy house, so nothing gets a chance to build up between visits.
- Families with children
- Multiple pets or heavy traffic
- Busy households with little time to clean
Every two weeks
The practical balance
Our most common schedule. Long enough to see the difference, short enough that film never builds.
- Moderately busy households
- One pet or lighter daily traffic
- Homeowners who do light upkeep
Every four weeks
For lighter-use homes
Less traffic means less to hold, so we spend a little longer on the visit itself.
- One or two adults
- Limited pets and lighter traffic
- Homes already kept in good condition
Not sure which schedule fits? We will recommend the lightest frequency that can realistically keep your home at the standard you expect.
Every two weeks is the schedule most of our clients settle on. What a bi-weekly plan covers, visit by visit →
What every regular visit covers
A consistent plan for the rooms you use most.
Recurring cleaning is designed to maintain the home—not repeat a deep clean at every visit. Your plan can be adjusted around the rooms and details that matter most to you.
Green, kid- and pet-safe products on every visit by default — never an upsell you have to ask for. Cloths are color-coded so kitchen and bathroom cloths never mix.
Kitchen
Clean counters, sinks, backsplashes and appliance exteriors; wipe reachable surfaces; vacuum and mop floors.
Bathrooms
Clean showers, tubs, toilets, mirrors, counters and fixtures; remove routine soap residue and finish floors.
Bedrooms & living areas
Dust reachable surfaces, tidy beds as arranged, vacuum carpeting and clean hard-surface floors.
Finishing touches
Empty designated wastebaskets, straighten selected areas and complete the priorities listed in your home plan.
Your first visit
We establish the baseline.
The first cleaning usually takes longer. The team is learning your home and catching up on whatever has built up before we get there.
- Review your rooms and priorities
- Note your preferences and how we get in
- Deal with the most important accumulated work
Future visits
We maintain what was established.
Once the home is on a rhythm, the team works from the same plan and adjusts it when your needs change.
- The same room-by-room checklist
- Changed whenever you ask
- No re-explaining your home every visit

Questions, answered
Know what to expect.
The questions people actually ask before starting a recurring schedule.
How often should we have you come — weekly, biweekly, or monthly?
Every two weeks suits most homes and is what the majority of our clients choose. Go weekly if the house is heavily used: young children, pets, a kitchen that gets cooked in nightly. Go to every four weeks if the home is quiet — a couple who travel, an empty nest, a weekend house. Frequency is not permanent. Plenty of clients run weekly through the winter and drop to biweekly when the family is outdoors more, then move back. Tell us about the house on the phone and we will recommend the one we would choose ourselves.
What does a recurring cleaning service actually mean?
A fixed day, at a set interval, with the same plan followed each visit. The point of the interval is that a clean still holds — shower film, dust on the sills and the grease film above the range never get the chance to establish, so each visit is maintenance rather than recovery. There is no contract and no subscription; it simply continues until you tell us otherwise.
Will I get the same cleaners every time?
On weekly and every-two-week schedules we hold the same team on the same day — for as long as they are with us, and as long as the schedule is not changed, skipped or canceled. On a four-week schedule we cannot promise the same team every visit.
Can we change what gets cleaned?
Yes. You do not have to have the whole house cleaned. Pick the rooms that matter, skip the tasks you would rather do yourself, alternate floors between visits, or change how often we come. Most people have no idea this is possible — ask, and we will price it for your home.
Do we need a deep clean before starting a recurring schedule?
Not always. If your home has been professionally maintained you can often start on a recurring schedule right away. If it has been several months, or there is noticeable buildup on baseboards, cabinets or in bathrooms, we will usually start with a deep clean so the recurring visits have something to hold.
Can I pause or skip a visit?
Yes, and there is no contract to get out of. We ask for two full business days’ notice on any change or cancellation, because the slot was held for you and a cleaner had it on their schedule.
What happens if something is not right?
Contact the office within two business days. The 100% Cleaning Guarantee means we come back and re-clean that area at no charge.
